Greeting Card: The Making

This is the pictures used for the greeting card.

Picture of my little brother.

First, I used the balloon picture as the background.

Second, open the animal alphabet photo in photoshop. I used the magic eraser tool to erase the white background. Select the alphabet and drag it by using move tool.

Then I used the rectangular marquee tool to move the alphabet. I used the free transform to resize the alphabet.

Insert the picture of a tissue texture above the balloon layer. Click on this texture layer and adjust the opacity to 50%. I select the soft light for this layer.

Since it was for the 9th birthday, I used number nine in the greeting card. I used the jokerman font this time. I put the number inside the balloon and play around with the effect. I adjust the gradient overlay and the stroke. I even change the colour.

Press Alt+right mouse click to make a copy of number nine. I used the free transform to resize the number and put it inside the balloon. I also write something at the right side of the card.

Finally, I used pencil tools to make a border for the greeting card. The front page of the greeting card is finished.

I used the same balloon picture to make the decoration for the inside part of the card. I make a copy of the balloon picture and inverted it.

Next, I insert the picture of my lithe brother. I used the lasso tool to trace the picture. I put some effect to the picture blend it in.

At the other side of the card, I made some wish for my little brother. Finish.

Bye
