First of all, click the background layer and using quick selection tools select the melon picture. Copy the melon picture into a new layer and name it head. Select the head layer; go to edit and click the free transform. Resize the picture by dragging the edge of the box and make it bigger. After that, go back to the original picture. Do the same think to the pear picture, copy it and save it in a new layer under the name ‘nose’. Put the nose layer on top of the head layer. Go to free transform and resize the picture so that it matches the head size.
Repeat the first step with the carrot picture and rename the layer to ‘r eye’. Then used the move tool and while pressing Alt button make a copy of the picture. Rename the copy of the carrot picture to ‘l eye’. Using the same step with the carrot picture, take the small ball with a star in side it and rename it ‘r retina’ and ‘l retina’. Make sure this layer is on top of the eyes layer and the size is smaller.
Going back to the background layer, used the quick selection tools and click at the picture of mushroom. However just take only the first half of the mushroom, click at the move tool and copy the picture in a layer name ‘r ear’. Select the layer and go to edit and free transform. Rotate the picture 90° and make a copy for this picture under the name ‘l ear’. Select this layer and go to edit and free transform; right click the mouse and choose flip horizontal to flip the picture.
Go back to background and used the quick selection tools to select the pasta picture. Copy this picture to a new layer name ‘msth’ which is actually for moustache. Select this layer and go to layer button, under it choose layer style and select gradient overlay.
Select the background layer and copy the spinach picture into a new layer, name it ‘r eyebrow’. Similar with what we do with the mushroom, go to edit and free transform. Right click at the picture and flip horizontal the picture. Put this picture under ‘l eyebrow’ and place both picture above the eye.
Now take the kiwi picture and put it under ‘body’. Go to edit and choose free transform to resize it and make it larger. Put this layer at the most bottoms so that the face is above the picture. Right click at the layer and pick duplicate layer. Select the ‘body copy’ layer, go to the top and choose layers. In the box under layers it should be normal but change it to overlay.
To make the mouth, go to background layer and copy the whole red orange picture. Put it under the name ‘mouth2’. Using the free transform, rotate and flatten the picture a little bit. Go back to background layer and copy only the inside part of the red orange picture. Put this picture under ‘mouth’ and also using free transform rotate the picture. Put this layer above ‘mouth2’ layer and make it look like the tongue is showing.
The veggie face is finish.
